Course Description: This course is based on "Joint Commission Standards: Management of Information and Beyond" taught by Susan Schweinsberg Long and Janet Cowen, who have turned the course over to me. The major goal of the course is to demonstrate how a Hospital Library's value within its institution can be achieved not only by Joint Commission validation, but also through other accreditation bodies, as well as solid customer service.
